If you are born here in the united states. You can go to any school you want even if your parents are here illegally. If need to apply for financial aid you need to take your parents tax paper. They can still do there taxes by using and ITIN which is a tax ID number. Which even if you are illegally here you are still supposed to do your taxes. So, your parents do not need to go back unless they want too. If you want to go back and study there fine, they don't have to go with you. Going to school is your decision you have figure out how to do it on your own not change everyone Else life stay at a relatives while studying outside the country. If you are here illegally you can still go to school I have met a lot of students who are here illegally there is always a way if you look for it.

Another 'hypothetical' situation: My parents got laid off their jobs due to "job cuts" then they found out the company hired illegal immigrants after the layoff and paid them 1/3 what they had WILLINGLY paid my parents. They had worked for years and had recieved raises that the company GAVE them. We are losing our home, because the only jobs they could find were very low pay. Yet, they make just over the limit to qualify for welfare. Those who got their jobs make under it so they qualify for welfare. The welfare my parents PAID for with their taxes. My parents cannot get health assistance, they cannot afford health insurance. Those illegal immigrants didn't pay into taxes for years like my parents did. They are 'illegal' and should not even be here let alone get federally funded welfare MY parents helped pay for. What's wrong with THIS picture?

You and your parents should go back to your home of origin and corporations will hire people like my parents for the wages they SHOULD be getting and the wages THEY WORKED years for and the wages the company HAD given them for their dedication, dependablility and experience.

It depends if in your home country you lived well. Also in the future you will probably go to school so in this situation I would try to just help my parents with what is going on.

Hypothetical situation: We live in the nicest house in town. My parents do not own the house; they do not rent the house. The door was unlocked, so we moved in last week. They've come to kick us out. They tell me that I DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE HERE! What should I do? Drag my parents back to our sorry trailer across town? Please help!

Yes. You absolutely should drag your parents back to Mexico. Be sure to let them know how abusive they are being making you live as a criminal fugitive in a foriegn country. Any other country besides the US and you would all be in prison (or worse).

Depends on where you live and how evolved the state that you live in is. California offers K-12 to any child. I believe you can also attend college here without paying out of state rates. I comment you for wanting to attend school!
If you are in another state, call their state Department of Education or other similar agency and ask them the rules. Good luck!

If you are illegal, yes, because this means that you are not paying taxes which help support most of the public school systems, and the millages that we have to vote on do nothing but put us further in debt and property taxes go up.

You could blame them for your problems, they broke the law and no amount of hours working is gonna save them from getting deported. So thank your parents for making your life hard. I would suggest they come in legally or just get out.

The law is that you can go to school.

That doesn't make it fair.

It is your parents' responsibility, and it is too bad they put you in that situation.

(I presume you want to go to school with your daughter... Sort of a 'Mommy and Me' class....)
