You seem to have a passion for furry aquatic rodents. Is your favorite song "Muskrat Love" by the Captain and Tennille?" How much would you pay to work in a nightclub that features exotic beaver dancing? They could really shake their tail and do a little slap dancing with it. It wouldn't be the place for retired sea captains who have wooden legs to hang out, however.

I think you are getting a deal, I have heard that the "on-call beavers" get at least $250-$500 depending on the length and indepthedness (it is SO a word, now it is anyways) of the inspection...

So yes, I think you are getting a great deal...

Considering you will be inspecting EVERY beaver that comes down the line, and think about that statement for a minute, You may want to rethink you compensation agreement.

It all depends on what you can handle. I think you may have to talk to them about medical coverage. (Is Viagra covered) And what are the fringe benefits, are you allowed to take some beaver home and freely enjoy it? I think that you should decrease your original amount and submit an amended figure that is inclusive of these perks.

$15/hr. is very reasonable for exotic beaver, naturally domestic beaver would go for less.

WHAT????!!!!! They should be paying you, man!
With your qualifications, I'd say you are getting ripped off badly. Specilized jobs always get more bucks. You should be on salary with at least a month's vacation per year, good insurance, 401K, all the perc's.

Depends on how skilled you are. I get $20/hr at my job plucking and gutting California condors, but I've five years experience.
