The combined qualities America possesses, which other countries may only have in part:
Diversity of people, backgrounds, and beliefs.
Unity in spite of, yet because of, the above.
Freedom to worship or not worship as we choose.
Natural scenery with a range much larger than many localities-from freezing to sweltering, from lowlands to mountains, or just mild climates and gentle rolling hills.
Most of all the people, who might do a lot wrong, but strive for the right.
At least that's the America I see; because that's the America I look for.

I hate to burst everyone bubble, but we use to be a great nation with constitutionaly protected rights that set us apart from all other nations. The USSR I mean USA UN-Patriot act has disabled this sacred document. We are no better than the rest of the world now. Read the USA Patriot Act for yourself and you'll see what I mean. President Bush has suppressed the constitution because of the past 4 administrations actions. Think of warrenless searches and compare to the 4th adm. Just one of many admendments. Do you really think we live in a "free" society were our vote counts anymore?
The great and mighty republic that I love is dead in the ashes of the police state that has happened since 9/11. It is no more "We the people".

What makes America beautiful is how we exploit everyone and the fact we are the most violent nation in the world is what makes us beautiful in Satan's eyes. Corporate America will fall one day....Who says communism is worse than capitalism must have been a rich man.

Everything, from the wide open spaces to the fact that we have the freedom to do whatever we want to within the law, like we can sit here and ask and answer all these questions, and no one can tell us not to, and no one is going to persecute us for it...... DON'T YOU THINK THAT'S BEAUTIFUL?????

Mt. Rushmore- my grandfather and his brother help build it. The Mackinaw Bridge- I live in Michigan. And the Diversity of people that live here.
