The garments you ask about are special only to Temple attending Members of the Mormon Church. They are available in Church operated outlets and you have to be recommended to buy them.

Hi. I AM mormon. And you can't just stroll into the temple and get some. I haven't been through the temple, so there is a lot I don't know about the purposes of the garments. BUT, I do know that they are for modesty. To keep women and men modest and to show God respect for the bodies he gave us. One of the first things God gave Adam and Eve were coverings.

Haha, and they aren't blessed in holy water. Mormons don't have holy water.

Oh yeah, and not all mormons wear them. Only the ones that have gone through the temple and made certain covenants with the Lord. I am only 16, and haven't done that yet. I will do that before I am married. Missionaries (boys and girls) go through the temple before they go on a mission. So, if I don't get married by the time I am of age to go on a mission, and I choose to serve one, I will be able to go through the temple.
But for now, I wear regular underwear, just like everyone else.

they look like one piece men's long johns and shirt but don't worry they do not really do anything for you. they are suppose to protect you against harm. but its only cotton. if they really worked then J-walking would not be illegal in Utah.
