we're supposed to be showing others the love of Christ and leading them to Him. we're not supposed to jump on them and "beat them over the head" with the Bible. can we please come together and show people the way to God without pushing them away?

we're not trying hard enough. there are still thousands of people on their way to Hell and we are just sitting back doing nothing. lets get out there and tell people about Him. are you with me?

I'm with you a hundred percent! I think that Christianity has not been doing its best throughout history, and that's why I'm an apologetist.

However, I'd like to ask other people out there: why aren't apologetics a focus of the church anymore? In the NT, Paul admonishes us and commands us to give proof for the faith we have, but the Body of Christ has been shifting the focus away from "proof" and more towards blind faith. So, I'm challenging all of my fellow Christians out there to get involved! Find the information ,get the proof, and show it to others! So many people lose their faith because growing up they were told to "just believe", but that's not good enough!

However, good job on your reminder of how some have been "slacking off" (including myself sometimes!). Good luck on your ventures, and God bless ya!

I'm an agnostic. Sounds better than telling them there going to hell. But if someone doesn't wanna be religious, then u should just leave them like u told them now its there choice what to do next u can't force them or make them join. They need to actually have faith and believe so theirs not point trying to scare them coz it won't work. Like if they just believe so they can be safe rather than sorry that is gonna be kinda fake like marrying an old bloke for his money.

And what are you doing besides beating them over the head with the bible? Maybe you could give us some examples that we haven't tried.

That right there. You think you're better than everyone else by saying we're going to Hell because we don't believe in your religion. We don't like that. You'll get more followers if you quit being so self-righteous and judgmental.

I think that most Christians are afraid of how we will be viewed when it is time to shine our lights. We are afraid that we will either be viewed as a troublemaking "holy roller" our we might become an outcast. Our jobs and social circles will become affected if we let our lights shine in an uncomfortable area!

As a Christian, it is time we let our lights shine for CHRIST!

Are you doing your Job?

Do you call Him Lord, Lord, and do the things that he told you to do?

Matthew 10:7-8
As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near.'

Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

I havent raised the dead "Yet"!

We are supposed to give the good news with signs and wonders following.

What about you?

Mark 16:20
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Proverbs 10.19

Well gee, I just tell people what Jesus said....

Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. 29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

That's not beating them over the head with the Bible is it? :o)

WRONG grasshopper !!!!

There is also tough love.

Eze 3:17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
Eze 3:18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Eze 3:19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Study to show thyself approved.
