If a man says, "I want to marry you one day, but you have to meet me half way", is in lust with you...is he really thinking about marriage and love... Hmmm. If the guy moves away and you didnt hear from him for years due to life happening and then says come see me asap. Is he looking for a booty call if he says he wants to marry me one day. Very interesting. I'm having a hard time figuring out if he is still in LUST with me or in LOVE with me. I keep thinking maybe he's saying the things I want to hear, (kids, marriage, i wont hurt you), just to get me to screw him. However, then I feel that, no...this is different. Then my brain starts again...fights with my heart. What ya'll think?

Ok, what if this guy has not had sex in 1 year (give or take a month) since his last long term relationship. It's eating me up inside, because, god only knows how I want him sexually too, however, I'm just soooo scared. Everything at face value points to him wanting a long term thing. I just have a hard time believing because of my last BF. I don't know why I'm making this so complex. Grrr

i think that if one would really like to know or find out then it is best to just hang out with the person and have a no sex involved relationship. hang with him see what he is like now and where his agenda is on life and if he is trying or asking for sex within the first week then it is prob just lust but if he can hold out and wait for you maybe 4 weeks or more then it could be something more

lust will go away after 6 to 12 months, max 24 months... then you can see the real him

Sounds like you have it figured out its lust and i would say he is trying to get his way...If your young and you sound to be don't give in..Never do anything you may regret latter in life because you can never go back...But you can always move forward..
