as in which doesnt scarch as much cos i heared that one of them cratches and the otehr just sits and lets you pat it!????

Female cats that are spayed and have had a litter, are a little more friendly than males for being affectionate and submissive. Having said that, every cat has its own individual personality.

It depends on the cat. I have had more affectionate males but I have also had more aggresive males. My female sleeps with me most of the time. Sometimes the male does too. Both will purr for me. However the male will allow himself to be held and the girl will not.

It really depends on the cat, but males are often more loving. As most of woman-kind seems to go, the girls can be a bit b*tchier.
We have four, the girls are loving, but can have more of an attitude. One of the boys would rather just smother you and begs to be held.

I personally have had both. All my female cats had lots of kittens and I got all of the males desexed. Opps I think I did that the wrong way round hey! Females are nicer if you get them desexed but it really depends on the cat itself.

When you get a kitten check it out to see how nice it is. Take it in your arms and them lay it on its back like holding a baby. If it fights you pick another one. If it lays still as you ;pet its tummy then it will be a nice and calm cat. Generally a netured male is sweeter.

well i like both female and male. we have a male cat who will come when you whistle, as well as he will follow you where ever you go. i also have a female cat who just will go right to the door and wait for you to let her in or out.
they are both nice it doesn't really matter on the sex of the cat it matters on its individual personality.

depends, male cats tend to like females and female cats tend to like males. I've owned cats 20 years.

I belive it really depends on the cat`s personality,breed,and how it`s raised insted of gender.
Though I`ve found most neutered male cats are more laid back and like human attention.

male cat because you dont have to worry about female cat having a bunch of kittens.
