I have found that the best cats (and dogs, for that matter) are ones rescued from a shelters or other animal organizations.

Everyone wants to rescue a kitten, but if you adopt a cat that is already grown, they seem to make the best pets.

Sometimes I think they know that you rescued them and are more grateful and loving.

Sometimes pure bred "designer" cats are not as friendly and loving.

Most cat rescue organizations have web sites where you can see pictures of all the cats available for adoption and they tell you about the cat, so you can make the choice that is right for you.

The best breed of cat is the one that you love and for which you take responsibility. The best breed is one that you adopt...one that has been neglected and unloved. It doesn't matter is it's Siamese, Burmese, Abyssinian, Persian, or whatever. It's the one that, when you see it, a magnetic spark hits you and the cat at the same time. And then you will know that the two of you will be best friends forever and ever.

SIAMESE! If you want a playful cat who is going to chase after a feather wand and then cuddle up with you at night a siamese is your best bet. Male cats are alot more playful. If you want an exotic looking cat get a siamese flame point. Check out www.siameserescue.org. it's where I got my flame points. They're an awesome organization!

It depends what your are looking for in a cat. I prefer the Siamese breed myself I have 4 now .2nd I like the persians I have 1. Siamese are very active and loving and like to be around people. Persians are very laid back and loving cats also. very easy going breed of cat. They do take alot of grooming though. Mix no breed cats are great also. It depends and how they are raised also.

Sorry, i'm now unlikely to respond to the cats section. i do no longer personal cats, i comprehend no longer something of them or breeding, good or undesirable. i comprehend there's a worse cat overpopulation than dogs, it really is it. a million. My own opinion is in case you at the instantaneous are not breeding to strengthen the breed, you're a BYB. which skill proving your dogs (titles or paintings), well-being clearances, conformation and information (breeding, genetics, lines, the breed often). i do no longer imagine all BYBs are terrible human beings. some are properly intentioned, yet uninformed. a.Vet checks are not well-being clearances. IMO well-being clearances are the biggest section. If no longer you're purely growing to be extra dogs with potential well-being complications. b. IMO, it really is the worst. c. respected breeders use contracts insisting their dogs be presented to them first if all people were to eliminate it. they're keen to take their dogs back at any time and stay in contact with their consumers if accessible. they do no longer make a contribution to the overpopulation. 2. professional breeders are needed. 3. My breed is a operating breed, breeding for showing and not in any respect operating potential too isn't proper. Breeding for the classic is significant, yet in a operating breed, sort and performance are purely as significant. As for teach breeds, fantastic, as long as they're respected. FYI- professional breeders also use linebreeding. Your definition is faulty. that is infrequently finished with dogs that close in relation, and does no longer have the outcomes you declare. a lot of human beings do not comprehend the genetics in the back of it or comprehend why or how that is done. If finished good with information of what you're doing, ie understanding your lines interior and out, there is no longer something incorrect with it. it may solidify perfect characteristics on your lines, many different characteristics besides a fantastic coat. both genuinely one of my operating line German Shepherds (one is a Police dogs) have linebreeding in them, none close to as close as you've pronounced. It became genuinely no longer finished for a incredibly coat. If finished with out understanding what you're doing, it may properly be disasterous. Linebreeding isn't a need, notwithstanding it isn't the negative aspect that those who comprehend little about it make it out to be.

I would say a Bengal. Look them up on the internet. They look like Leopards, only smaller! If you want a playful cat, go with this one! I had one, she was sooo cute. They love to talk, they usually like water. They love to go outside and are very energetic. But they also love to cuddle. Good luck!

The mountain lion. They're beautiful, efficient, and well-adapted to their surroundings.

Domesticated cats - the "fun" ones never have appealed to me, partly because people are always attributing attitudes and behavior to the cats as though the animals were some furry little versions of human beings.

Remember: if you were unconscious and your cat were hungry, the cat would do its best to eat you in bite-sized pieces, without regard to its putative love or loyalty to its owner. It would display no remorse. That, to me, is a sobering tidbit of reality vis-a-vis the cute kitten myth.

That is something you need to decide for yourself but the one thing I can say it I love my codey but Siamese are very picky cats. I can't change litter It has to be spotless or he will go on the floor it has to be where he wants it. We just bought a house put the litter boxes in the basement he would go down but ended up pooping on my daughter and husbands bed. Put it back up here and it stopped. Things don't go his way he retaliates.
