Wet the hair and towel dry it. Mix a paste of the kool-aid (non sweetened!) so it's not runny. Using gloves (very important!), work the paste into the hair and let it sit for about 10 minutes with a plastic bag or shower cap over top of the hair (the plastic keeps warmth in and accelerates the dying process). Test rinse a small portion of the hair to see how well the color is taking. Leave on in 5 minute increments until you achieve the desired intensity.

Rinse with warm water until the water runs clear. Condition the hair, rinse and style at will.

This stuff won't come out for some time. It's like semi-permanent hair dye. It will fade with each washing.

use the cool aid and just add water but not too much just enough to make it like soupy... then you use a brush for hair dying or just rub it into the hair but it will make your fingers turn whatever color...then cover it with aluminum foil and dry it with a hair dryer

For dark hair, you must bleach it first if you want the pure shock of color. There are products at Walgreens or beauty supply shops to bleach your hair. DO NOT use household bleach. It will burn your scalp and any skin it touches, even if you dilute it. Best to use professional product.

i'm not that confident of using kool-aid as hair dye, it might have some side effects to it that you don't know about because it's acually made for drinking not dying your hair
