No doubt in my mind that Jesus is God. The terms "Son of Man" and "Son of God" are Messianic titles referring to the Messiah. And there was no doubt in the minds of the Jewish leaders that Jesus called Himself God. That's what the Jewish leaders charged Him with, blasphemy, for calling Himself God.

Genesis says that God(the Hebrew word used here was Elohim, which is the plural form) created the Heaven and the Earth. Colossians says that Jesus created the Heavens and the Earth...same person.

John 10:30 Jesus speaking "I and My Father are one".

In the Gospel of John, there's a dialogue between Jesus and some Jewish leaders. In verse 8:52, Jesus says "If anyone keeps My word, he shall never taste death". The Jewish leaders responded in verse 53 "Are you greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets who are dead? Who do you make yourself out to be? Jesus said in verse 56 "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad".57 Then the Jews said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?"58 Jesus said to them "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I Am."

This "I Am" statement goes back to Exodus when Moses was talking to God in the burning bush, and Moses asked God, who shall I tell the people sent me. God said "I Am that I Am. Tell them that I Am sent you, And this will be the name I will be know by throughout the generations". So when Jesus said to the Jewish leaders, I Am, they knew He was calling Himself God. For the complete dialogue, read the Gospel of John, 8:48-59

Even in the Book of Revelation, Jesus says "I Am the Alpha and the Omega, The beginnig and the End".

I would like to make a comment on Lillie's knowledge of Greek. The whole sentence that she's commenting on says "kai theos en ho logos". Usually, an "os" ending denotes the subject of a sentence. But here you got theos=God and logos=Word both with the os ending. In this sentence we know that logos is the subject because it has the deffinite article ho with it, and theos is what's called a predicate nomitive, meaning that logos and theos are the same.

No he is God's Son, People around the world have heard something about Jesus Christ, even though he lived 2,000 years ago. Yet many are confused about who Jesus really was. Some say that he was merely a good man. Others claim that he was nothing more than a prophet. Still others believe that Jesus is God and should be worshiped. Should he?
It is important to know the truth about Jesus, because the Bible says: This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you , the only true God, and of the one you sent forth, Jesus Christ."(John 17:3) Yes knowing the truth about Jehovah God ,and about Jesus Christ, can lead to everlasting life on paradise earth.(John14:6) Furthermore, Jesus sets the best example of how to live and treat others(John13:34,35) Jesus is Jehovah's most precious Son-and for good reason. He is called the firstborn of all creation(Collossians1:15). There is something else that makes this Son special. He is the only-begotten Son."(Colossians1:16)This means that Jesus is the only one directly created by Jehovah God. Jesus is also the only one whom God used when he created all other things(Colossians1:16) Then too, Jesus is called the Word,"(1John 1:14) This tells us that he spoke for God,no doubt delivering messages and instructions to the Father's other Sons, both spirit abd human.
The first born Son equal to God, as some believe? That is not what the Bible teaches. As noted earlier, the Son was created. Obviously, then,Jesus had a beginning, whereas God has no beginning or end. (Psalm 90:2) The only-begotteen Son never even considered trying to be equal to his Father. The Bible clearly teaches that the Father is greater than the Son(Mathew24:36) Jesus observed God's laws(John8:55)The Bible teaches that God is greater than Jesus(John14:28;1Corinthians11:3
The Son Jesus Christ was created(Psalm90:2) Obviously, then, he had a beginning, whereas God has no beginning

The bible tells us that Jesus is the SON of God, however, it also tells us that Jesus is God in mans form.
This is where a lot of the religions get the trinity from. God is one, but in 3 parts. Father (Father of us all), Son (The savior of us) and the Holy Spirit (This is the little voice in your head telling you what to do that is right!)

I do believe that God and Jesus is SPIRITUALLY one and the same, because I have been raised to believe it that way. I do know that Jesus and God do exist. Not just by belief, but by experience and witnessing. It is amazing when you have God on your side and doing for you what you need to get you going!

Explain? OK... I don't believe that Jesus is God. That should be explanation enough for you. I don't believe that the Bible is true, so your study would do little to change my opinion of the divinity of Jesus. He's a good guy, though.

Pilar L,
I hope you read the whole Bible and not just the parts you were told to read. The bible says that Christ is God. You do need this Bible Study.

The Bible testifies to this and so does History. That is why you don't believe. You're not even willing to get this persons Bible Study. Give God a chance. You're not rejecting her bible study. Your rejecting Christ.

CCSFAN-He could have saved Himself, however, He died to cleanse our sins with His precious blood so we can be with Him the day we die if we truly believe in Him. He was holy and free of sin. It is a free gift to us from Him. He resurected and He lives. It is sad that people continue to reject His love.

No, he is not God. He was a person, a human being in a very controversial time. He preached peace in a time of war and anger. He was revolutionary in his thinking and his actions. He changed the world forever with his teachings of peace and equality. And I don't need a bible study thank you. I spent 13 years in Catholic school, and many years studying the Bible and Christianity on my own. The Bible was written by man, not by God. And man is fallible.

Yes I do. Jesus is the 2nd person of the Blessed Trinity - God. Three divine persons in one God. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Yes, Jesus is God.

Jesus Christ is the first born of all creation.(Col.1:15)And through him all other things were made.
Jesus is the only begotten Son of Almighty God,Jehovah..
John 3:16 "God loved the world so much, that He sent his only begotten son,in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life."
No where in the Bible is Jesus referred to as "Almighty".
At Isa.9:6,he is referred to as "mighty god"among other things.
Jesus Christ had a beginning.Almighty God did not..
The early Christians did not think that Jesus was God.At Mat.16:15,16 Jesus asks his discples "who do you say I am?"Simon Peter said:"You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God."
The idea that Jesus and Jehovah are one and the same is part of the trinity belief steming from pagan beliefs which were fused into apostate christanity in the fourth century of our common era.
Many also cling to the scripture found at John 1:1,which has been translated incorrectly by many translations to support the trinity doctrine.
However,in the Greek text, the definite article(the) appears before the first occurrence of the os'(God) but not before the second. The articular (when the article appears)construction of the noun points to an identity,a personality, whereas a singular anarthrous (without the article) predicate noun before the verb(as the sentence is constructed in Greek) points to a quality about someone. So the text is not saying that the Word(Jesus) was the same as the God with whom he was but, rather, that the Word was godlike, divine,a god.
The Holy Spirit is not a person, but God's active force, the means by which he accomplishes his purpose,as in the example at Pentecost 33CE when Holy Spirit appeared as tongues of fire above the heads of those who had been annointed to be part of the 144,000 going to heaven to rule as kings and priests with Christ Jesus.
There are countless scriptures to disprove that Jesus and God are one and the same.
Why not ask Jehovahs Witnesses to conduct a free home bible study with you. That way you can come to an accurate understanding of the Bible. You can learn about Gods Kingdom, what it is,and what it will do for mankind. You can learn about the wonderful promises our Heavenely Father,Jehovah has in store for obedient mankind. There are many many wonderful truths contained in the Holy Scriptures, but we need to search for them, because Satan is" blinding the minds of the unbelievers so that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God might not shine through" - 2 Cor.4:4

Yes. It states in the bible that Jesus is God. The trinity is God.

Absolutely. Jesus claimed to be God (or, at least equal with God) on many occasions. However, Paul and all of the NT writers also clearly knew of His Godhood. Nothing short of His own claims would make His followers, a band of strictly monotheistic Jews, worship Him as God!
