if u had a babysitter for the whole night would u spend it by partying and having fun or by relaxing at the house?

We have only once had a babysitter through the full night. My husband and I went to a class reunion and stayed up till 3 a.m. with old friends. Twice since our kids were born (ages 5 and 2) we have actually got a babysitter and spent half the night out dancing and drinking. For us, it's been good for our marriage to have date nights. We never partied growing up and right now it makes us feel younger. We have been together since I was 15 and he was 16 and are now 29 and 30, by the way.

I would probably want to go out and party but would most likely end up spending the night at home cleaning. So much for the idea of relaxing.

You might as well go out and play. Because if you stay at home you wont be able to relax even if you have the babysitter. but if you can go and spend the night at a hotel to relax and pamper yourself that would be better.

well i sure in the hell wouldent spend it out partying. but in the first place i would not get a babysitter for the whole night. i like to spend the time watching my kids grow not let some babysitter watch them grow. and thats just wrong to ask y would u want to leave ur kid with someone so u can go ***** or go get drunk. y have the kids if u dont want to be a mother to them.

We have had over night babysitters before and my husband and I took advantage of going out with just the two of us. With four kids, alone time for us doesn't happen very often. We have gone out on date nights then come back home and we have gone out to stay at a hotel for the night. Either way, I take that time to enjoy my hubby! :0)

I would go out on the town and then come home and relax in the hot tub. Depending on how early the babysitter was leaving, would depend on how much drinking I would do.

I'd go out for a little while, probably to a restaurant that does not have a kid's menu, then head home and relax. Take a long bath, do my nails, stuff like that.

babysitter means getting out of the house. i would go to a hot tub and relax that way. then pamper myself and spouse so we can handle the stress of day to day things.

Having fun doing something away from the house. The partying would be limited.
