This means, like the fat of a lamb hitting the fire, it burns and turns into ashes forever. Gone. So, will the souls of those that God destroys.

I think in that statement, fat represents sin and burning represents repenting. Therefore the statement could say "we repent for the sins on our souls." I hope this helps

'Burning the fat off' is a theoretical term. To me it means you have to work hard to be a good person or to be the person you want to be. For instance, a cat will not come to a person with a bad ora as quickly as a person witha good one. Your soul is the bearer of burdens, secrets, and shows what type of person you truely are behind closed doors (your ora).

The second death is non-existence, for death and hell and those not written in the book of life. This second death or lake of fire is like fat drippings that fall into the fire. Just a poof of smoke into non-existence.
