That sounds fishy to me. I had a TABC sellers permit for years. Technically if you walk into a liquor store in Texas they will not accept ID from anywhere else whether you are old enough or not. They only accept Texas drivers liscense or state issued ID. They might think since you came in with him and he had a different ID, that your ID is fake. Which is rediculous. I would take my business elsewhere. Report them to the BBB.

No one has a "right" to shop at someone's store in the United States, period. They don't have a right to provide or refuse service to anyone they choose, they simply have the choice. I don't have to talk, deal, do business, or listen to anyone I don't want to. There might be consequences to that choice, but it is mine to make.

You have no right to shop there or elsewhere. RIGHTS have nothing to do with this situation. This is a matter choice.

Do you really think you have the legal right to force them to do business with you? Can you imagine the country where that argument would work and how that would create immense problems for all of us? Thank goodness it isn't the case!

Are you OLD ENOUGH to be in the store? I have many good answers to your question... but do not know how old you are.
They may be prejudice. May have your mug confused with some one else.... Just find another store. how ever if you are under legal age... you won't get served. It might be their personal policy not to except the type of ID that you have...dunno?

They are afraid that you are buying liquor for a minor. If they know that your boyfriend is underage they will not sell to you. Or option two, they think you're working for the state to check and see if they sell to minors.

Do you think they are descriminating against you because you are gay? Or are you just using someone elses avatar? It sounds wrong to me. You should report them to BBB.
