Well, yes, it is the male ego unbounded......
Guys, especially those who are not sure of themselves, will not call you. These are the people who will thrust their ego forward, when they get a call from you, because they have something to hide!

It's not because they are on a budget. Some of them might be afraid of rejection. I think we protect our baby boys too much and that's how they grow up. However - I think (hope) when it is THE girl for them - they will call if she doesn't!
I often wonder why girls call guys anyway. Desperation I guess!

I know, from having so many guy friends. They've said this.
Guys are SO shy!
They are much more afraid of picking up that phone and calling, than we are.
Aren't they cute?
Being shot down by a girl, is their worst nightmare.
This is true! They would talk about this openly in front of me.

No, they are too shy and they are excited when you call them because they like to know that somebody is thinking about them. Trust me, Im a guy.

we all have a system. guys and girls. we hardly call buz its a system for us. we wait certain of dayz to call. like girls. we call on fridays to see if yer goin to da party and on sunday to talk about what happen. thursdays r always like a pre date term, we call to see if u wanna kick it on friday if nothing is goin on. if u girls hear sumthing like a kick back dat da guys r having wit friends we call you prolly everyother day til da last 2dayz cuz u girls call to see if its still on. we love it when girls call when he are not around our boys. when dat happens, like u girls call on a friday its just to hook up our friends wit your friends so we can all be happy

Guys can be nervous too. They are probably nervous, think that may appear to be desperate or they are just busy.
