Industrial Hemp oil is perfectly edible.
Hemp seed is made of 30% oil, and roughly 30% starch. Simple distillation will get you normal cooking oil from hemp seed.
For those who don't know the difference, this isn't marijuana seed. Hemp seed for cooking oil are grown from lines of Hemp that are grown for their lack of drug content. Industrial Hemp can't cause problems that marijuana can.
Hemp seed oil is required to contain so little drug content that it is unlikely to set off drug tests. Hemp cooking oil is probably less likely to be detected in a drug test than bagels are. Bagels often contain poppy seed that contains the main ingredient for heroin.
