People who have never seen Christ truly love Him and believe in Him, and their hearts are filled with unspeakable love.
The chief attribute of the Father and Son is love, to love One Another, and to love us. And this should be the goal of man, to love one another, and to love God.
God said that the one who keeps my commandments is the one who loves me. Love is not just a happy feeling, but it is an action. It is doing the will of God. In the Christian life, the love of Christ is everything. And the love of Christ will flow from Him, through us, to others.
Great love results in great faith, the faith of His love towards us. Faith that His love is in our hearts.
So those of you who do love Jesue, tell me why you love Him.

Yes I love Jesus.
1 John 4:16-21
16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

why I love him is because he willingly gave his life so that all the sins of the world may be forgiven. He did that to show me his love, so in my heart I know I love him. I think about him. I try to live my life in accordance with his example. Key word is try. It's the same kind of love I have for a parent or family. You just know its there and always will be.
Jesus was NOT a parable for love.
Jesus IS love
God sent his son Jesus and now they are one along with the Holy Spirit and are the Holy Trinity.

Well, you got it: If we love God, we'll keep His commandments.
But that's not only why and how I love God. When you begin to develop a relationship with Him, you realize soooo much He has done for you; and you become grateful for the fact that he sent Jesus, into this world to save us so we could have eternal life. You realize that without Him, you are just wasting away. I love Him because He gave me life more abundantly and I can share that with others. I love him because he allowed me to have a family that loves me and and cares for me. I love him because, eventhough everything in my life isn't perfect, I know that all is well with my soul because when I get to heaven I know that that is where my treasure is. I know that I have a crown of glory waiting for me because I have accepted him and believe Him in my heart. I love Him because He loves me.
The bible says, "No greater love hath any man than this: that he lay down his life for his friends."
That is exactly what Christ did for me, and that's why I love Him so much!

I Love Jesus.
After growing up Catholic, and getting Saved when I was 21, I'd have to say I love Him in Truth now, living according to His Word and not those of men. He has opened my eyes and heart, and has shown me I can have personal relationship with Himself, without all the "stuff". Each day He shows me new and wonder-filled things.....
For this, I owe Him my life, and I surrender it ALL!

I love Him because he made all my wrongs right, made all my sin the righteousness of God, paid all my debts, gave me His Spirit, loves everyone unconditionally, sees the good in us and always is quick to forgive, full of mercy, tender, patient, pure, true, beautiful, glorious, perfect, giving all gifts, strength, hope, life, purpose, meaning, and reason. He is the light of the world and by Him I can see. Without him I am nothing, and through Him I can do all things. He is my guide, my Lord, my Father, and my true love. I give all that I am, and all that I will ever be to Him for His glory, eternal, without end, Amen.

Yes I love Jesus hes the man!!!! He gave us life, He has the ability to heal us and make us whole-physically,spiritually,mentally. He loves us even though we don't deserve it. I love Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think according to the power that works in us. He is AMAZING.I go to a awesome church that has helped me grow so much its unbelievable. My relationship with my husband and my children are so much healthier now. And I absolutely LOVE whats going on inside of my children watching them grow up in the Lord is wonderful.

I love Jesus for all the reasons you mention above and because God is all-good, love and beauty. He created me, unique and individual as I am and He loves me beyond my ability to understand. No it is not always happiness, there are times of great trouble and sadness but Jesus himself said..."pick up your cross and follow me", so we will have crosses to bear but it is at those times, I most feel Jesus loving arms wrapping myself into Him. We are to see every other person as Jesus himself and cloth, feed, etc. basically treat them with great love as we would for Jesus Himself. I often fall in my daily attempts to walk with Jesus but He gives me his love and forgiveness and mercy always so I can get up, when I fall, and continue on my journey. Jesus took upon Himself the sins of humanity and there is no greater love than this. And it is for each and every single one of us if we but believe it.

If Jesus were alive today, I'd probably love him because I hate nobody. Jesus is not God. So, even if I didn't love Jesus, I'd still love God.
