Being that you did not define a 'full' life, that leaves open a world of interpretation:
Let's view the entire spectrum:
Militant Evangelical: Who cares about the question!? ARE THEY CHRISTIAN?!
Catholic: My guess is that person was probably sinning at the end. Somehow, someway.
Judaist: What did he do on Yom Kippur?
Muslim: I'm busy praying. Ask someone else.
Spiritualist: They died without any unfinished business, then they are at peace.
Buddhist: That's the best way to go! Worldly possessions only weigh you down!
Secular Humanist: A good life would mean they helped out people as much as they can.
Healthist: No, because they're dead, duh!
Captalist West of the Rockies: If they rolled a bum, went out west and had at least one burger from In-n-Out, I'd call that a life fulfilled.
Capitalist East of the Rockies: Same as above, but White Castle.
Militant Atheist: Who cares about the question?! They're dead!
Nihilist: Yes! They're nothing now!
Harry Carey: Is this a tuna-fish sandwich? It looks a lot like turkey. I'm sorry, what was the question?

It would depend on what is a full life. A full life of self indulgence or a full life of helping others. You can have a full life of helping others and not have money. I have seen people who do everything and go everywhere but in the end its not enough. They end their lives unhappy. I have seen others who live a Christ centered life and had a good life. I would see Sister Theresa has having lived a full life and she died broke. In the end we all die alone. The only one who can judge if a life is wasted or not is God. In the end the question to ask is can I defend how I lived my life.

We all die broke and alone regardless of how you lived your life. What defines "living life" is subjective, the only thing we ever actually have is the memories of what we have done and seen. Everyone can live life, it takes a little more to experience life and all it has to offer. The next time anyone is afraid of doing something, just remember, you regret the things you don't do more than the things we do. There is nothing worse than wondering "what if" for the rest of your life. You need to be happy with the choices you make.

It really doesn't matter, how God sees their life, or what God thinks of a good life.... the question is, a person lives WHAT he or she "THINKS" is a full life, and dies alone and broke ... Did they really live a life? The answer is.... Yes... as it is up to the individuals to live their live as they see it to live and in their decissions on how it should be lived. As it was their life to live.
God gave us the choice to live it, how we choose.
If they think it was a full life then it was a full, to them.
There for the second part of your question is... Does God see that life as a good life or wasted one. NO answer for this question.... God only puts them here on earth for them to choose what they make of their own life, wasted or not. But if they think it is FULL.. then it can not be wasted. Therefore God cannot see it as good or wasted... Just full.

Yes they have lived a full life because of the steps to get where they are. Seems like a good one. No one is a waste of space unless they think they are.

You watch too many TV Preachers who teach a false concept of Godly People are wealthy and have possessions.
Jesus came delivering the Good-News to the Poor! To the lonely! To the destitute! To those who have nothing.
Possessions and wealth are nothing. Some "real" Christians are wealthy - but not many. Most are pretentious. The best Christians are not weighed by what they have but how they lived their lives before God.
Our true wealth is in heaven, not here on Earth.

Why would it not be a good life? Long as they did what they knew as right for them to do and enjoyed it, who is to say it is not right for them? Any life that is one that you get to Heaven is a good life. A wasted one would be that which you choose to go to Hell when you could have been in Heaven.

If you choose to give away all your worldly possessions and then die unattended in peace, you are "alone and broke". However, that doesn't sound too bad to me. I would imagine there are many people who have done just that.
If you feel like you have lived a good life, then you have.

I do not believe God judges a life by how much wealth one has but by how much love one puts into serving and following him. Many of the great saints died broke. Jesus our Savior Himself died penniless.A life is measured by love and by how closely one strives to please God.

God does not judge our life by how much money we have when we die nor by who is with us when we die. goodness, look at Christ. He had zero when he died and was hanged between 2 thieves. the life is measured by what we have done with our life for others and for Him. Whether we have money and friends or not.
