Many digicams have sound with their video clips. Some even allow you to make audio notes attached to still photos.
My first Sony Cybershot had sound 4 years ago.
If you are buying a camera, ask at the store which one's have sound. It should not be hard to find.

Some cameras (Like my Sony P30) omit the microphone to save money on all the audio equipment. LOTS of cameras are like this.
Solution: I don't know, get a camcorder or a used Sony Mavica (Most Mavicas have micriphones)

My Canon has sound.
Digital picture cameras really don't give you very good video anyhow. Mine has poor sound and even poorer movies but the still pictures are great and that is what I want.

Most digital cameras have sound. I would not even consider one that didnt have it.
The Canon S3 IS even records in stereo sound...
