there's a boy that i like and he always tells me he "loves" me, but he hasn't asked me out yet. what's the problem? am i doing something wrong?

Really read the book jjdanca18 recommends, it will open ur eyes to some of the aweful things guys do to rip a girl's heart to shreds and confuse the hell out of her in the process, and of course, blame her for all of it when the mind game part wasnt' even her fault. I don't know why everyone says only girls play games, guys do to. Ur not doing anything wrong...it's him...if he doesn't want to go out with u, he doesn't love u. Right now, at the most innocent level, ur just friends...but I'm guessing if he said the L word and hasn't asked u out, it only means, either u guys have been friends forever, so it's a plutonic love, or u guys are FWB, and he loves that.

Sounds like he's just telling you that and not really knowing the meaning of the words - maybe he loves you as a friend. Tell him you like him and ask him if he'd like to go out. There's nothing wrong with the woman taking some initiative.

Guys don't exactly understand girls either. Maybe he is too shy to make the first move, or maybe he loves you more like a sister. I doubt you are doing anything wrong. Perhaps you should take the initiative to ask him out and see what he says.

You are doing nothing wrong. He fears rejection. The biggest fear to a guy is to be turned down by a girl and others finding out about it. Suggest to him that the two of you go do something, later he will swear it was he that asked you out first, let him think it.

There's nothing wrong with you....there's something wrong with him...the next time he tells you that he loves you...ask him why...and if he tells you one of these lines:
I love you for you
Because you're you
I love everything about you
or a poem that sounds like he didn't write
....just move on girl..it ain't love and if he can tell you that he loves but doesn't wanna be in a relationship with you, then he's not for you...

he does'nt love you. you are not in a relationship with him. he may love you like a friend or a sister, but that is all. it is probably not you. don't try to understand guys too soon.remember in life it is a wise man who has more questions than answers.
