No, not in the sense that it is a book of fiction and no truth to it. The only truth in it is that Paris is indeed in France, London is in England, and thats about it. It is not good for any Christian whose faith is not strong and can be easily led astray into believing in the book and its premises and can cause one to doubt their faith. I proclaims many falsehoods and people not strong in their faith can begin to question whether Jesus Christ was just a man, etc so in that sense, it can be harmful if it causes you to doubt your faith and beliefs.

No, The Davinci Code isn't bad for Christians as long as you know that it is fiction and was only made for entertainment.

The Di Vinci Code is a fiction story. Just like the theory of evolution. someone made up a story and a fake face and tried to see who would believe it. Look up 1 Timothy 4.

No. It is actually very good for Christians to question the conventional wisdom and to learn a little history about who Jesus REALLY was and how the Catholic church has carefully cultivated and protected his image all along the way.

It all depend on if you are Catholic or Protestant. I myself read the book and found it to be terrific. If you just set aside the religious aspects of it (if you don't agree with them) you'll realize that it is a great piece of literature. You should feel free to read it. It doesn't mean you're going to Hell if you read it.

It's not good for Christianity, but it's not bad either.
Ultimately anything that opens your eyes and makes you think is good. It may strengthen your beliefs, it may weaken them. But if it makes you think critically about your beliefs then you are a better person for it.

It's only bad for people who actually believe the stuff that the author calls "fact".

Nope... everything said in the book/movie does not change the fact that Jesus Christ is the Messiah and it does not make Him any less Holy.
