Why do people want to be lesbian?

People are NOT born gay. Even some straight people seem to think that gay people were born gay (and, of course, gays insist they were born so). On the contrary, they learn to be so. Sometimes, it may not be their fault.

Homosexuality is a disease, just like alcoholism. What I find extremely unacceptable is that gays refuse to do anything about correcting the situation. They insist that God made them so. This is the way gays are; accept us that way, and do not expect us to change!!! How many gays will accept that attitude from an alcoholic or a rapist or an arsonist?

Gross huh? Why then did you ask the question. Maybe you unconsciously want to be one? Oh, actually not want, since people are born that way. So the question might be are you really a lesbian who is afraid to face it consciously? I think that is the real question here.

I think people are born homosexual. I mean who chooses to be gay and stop fancying the opposite sex and start finding the same sex attractive? Also there are such thing as homosexual animals. It could be like women have more of a male hormone than a female one making them attractive to other women. Nice to see ur so accepting and open minded anyway.

HELLO PPS! haven't there been enough shows on discovery channel for you!! you are born that way the same way I was born straight. its in your genetic make up. I couldn't choose to like women for anything! It's not my genetic set up. I can't believe people still think this is a choice. Whoever is straight, think about it. I never wanted to be, I just am. Why do people want to be straight? Thats just the way they are. If you think its gross then dont subject yourself to it. There are far worse things in this world. Why dont people who hate on gays and lesbians focus some of their negative energy on child molesters and pornographers, rapist, drug dealers and violent gang members who kill innocent people?

How many times is this same question (or the same question with the word "gay" or "homosexual") going to be asked? You don't "choose" to be gay. You either are or you aren't. It's not a choice and it's not a disease. Why do you "want" to be heterosexual? Oh, you were born that way? You didn't choose you sexual orientation? Well, neither did they.

look, when it comes to sexuality, either you know what you are doing or you don't. sometimes a girl will try out with a female partner and stay with it because they aren't willing to find a male counterpart. sometimes a girl will choose to have same sex partners because she is just more attracted to females. everything is relative.
