BE CAREFUL. Talk on the phone first then meet for the first time in public. Coffee or quick lunch.....you can't imagine how horrid a bad date can be. If the first one works well, try another very simple date. Find out things that are important to you, then keep her or toss the cat out.

Usually the best place to go is someplace where you can talk to each other and learn about each other. Out to eat is a good first date.

It's different for every couple. Movies are where I see a lot of people going on dates. Try something unique, like paintballing or bowling.

well on my first date i remember taking her out for something to eat then we went to the drive-in movies.

somewhere where you can figure each others strenghts, the batting cages, a roller coaster ride, a nice restaurant etc...,
