I've got a TV+DVD Player combo Deccacolour DT4DT90S.
In the instruction manual, "SEARCH: Search menu will be
displayed if you press SEARCH button. If you enter a time value,
DVD will be played starting from this point."

However, I couldn't find any information on how to enter this
"time value"; simplly pressing number buttons did not seem
working.

Zoomjet, thanks, but I already tried pressing
these buttons and just saw the "invalid
operation" sign on the screen...

It might be that this feature is disabled. Sometimes manufacturers have functions that either aren't utilized or may not work after production is completed. I suggest contacting the manufacturer and asking them for further details. If this feature is very important to you, you may consider returning the player/tv. It's possible that they just haven't included the complete steps in the manual (this often occurs in translations, and this unit sounds French made to me, but could be a French product made elsewhere such as China). One last thing to try is to go through the menu and look for the search options. Sorry, I couldn't be more help, but without the manual, etc. it could be so many different issues.

If you can't input numbers directly, try the programme up and down buttons. This sometimes works.
Also to start an operation you may need to press the ENTER or OK button first.
