is there a way to defeat defeat the cyclic loop that sony has put in recent dvds ?

It is the way that they create the error code when i am trying to backup my discs. DVD4.3 and AnyDVD does not seem to be able to work around the problem.

The current generation of Soft wares are not yet capable of bypassing or ignoring this new copyright protection.

My recommendation would be to wait a month or two before attempting to do so. The universal theory of computers is:

"If it's made by human, it can be broken by human".

Someone out there will eventually create a neat utility to outsmart the anti-piracy procedures. Until then, wait patiently.
