Let me tell you what is great. Big thank you for all of your help with all of my questions, if you have answered one. But the thing that I love is when I do ask the hard questions, about religion, I get mostly Christian answers telling me what the Bible says, and that it is infallable, and right, and I must believe, or go to hell. But all the answerers that are Muslim are the best. The people of the Muslim faith answer the question, and don't try to convert people. They simply provide pertinent info to the question, and give sources, and tell me to seek what is right for me. A long far cry from the Christian zealots who take every chance they can to tell me why I am going to hell for not believing like them, and how I will get there. So big props to all the Muslims on this sight, and I have to say, this is the best approach you could have to helping people with their religious choices.

I agree. I am not religious my self but if there is something I respect is the Muslims. You never hear them bashing anyone or trying to convert you. They have a true faith, following their religion step by step and they are peaceful. Christians are always bashing, condemning people to hell (as if they could) and dont respect other religions...They have the nerve to call Islam a fake religion just because they believe in something different. They see their religion as the football team they have to support and boo everyone else. My Muslim friends are so down to earth and every time we talk they are so nice and open minded. Cant say the same about my Christian friends though...

This statement just did the eact same thing you accuse Christians of. You are telling everyone that Muslims are the best. Sounds like when you put your questions out there, you know that you will get mixed answers. If you want a particular answer maybe you should specify what religion you want the answer from.

you seem to be a nice person , pure at heart with an open mind. may allah always protect you and guide your steps . keep on the same track . i believe you are intelegent because you can tell that not everything you read about islam is true , the trouble is that there are so many sites spreading lies about islam ,and for those who don't know islam , they believe all these lies.but then again ,i salute you for your extreme awareness of what is wrong and what is right, many people can't tell the difference.. they are so easy to lie to .

Dangerous Conversion (death penalty for becoming Christian)

Prosecutors in Nigeria have requested the death penalty for two men accused of converting from Islam to Christianity. Auwal Jabaka, the judge, said that although the Quran calls for the execution of Muslims who accept another religion, it was unclear whether the state's penal code ordered the same punishment. Jabaka adjourned the court for three days to allow the accused to "change their minds" and convert back to Islam. In the meantime, he called on the government to clarify its position on the matter. "If the law empowers me to (execute them), I will have no hesitation," he said

Thousands of Women Killed for Family "Honor"

Hundreds, if not thousands, of women are murdered by their families each year in the name of family "honor." It's difficult to get precise numbers on the phenomenon of honor killing; the murders frequently go unreported, the perpetrators unpunished, and the concept of family honor justifies the act in the eyes of some societies.

Most honor killings occur in countries where the concept of women as a vessel of the family reputation predominates, said Marsha Freemen, director of International Women's Rights Action Watch at the Hubert Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.

Reports submitted to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights show that honor killings have occurred in Bangladesh, Great Britain, Brazil, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Pakistan, Morocco, Sweden, Turkey, and Uganda. In countries not submitting reports to the UN, the practice was condoned under the rule of the fundamentalist Taliban government in Afghanistan, and has been reported in Iraq and Iran.

"Females in the family—mothers, mothers-in-law, sisters, and cousins—frequently support the attacks. It's a community mentality," said Zaynab Nawaz, a program assistant for women's human rights at Amnesty International.

Some times u have to make your own decision about what to beleive and the thing is if u like to convert it is your personal choice and no one can change that and they should never tell u what to beleive! It is your life and u have to answer to yourself and if it feels honest then that is right for you.

You know, that is because Muslims can not lie. and we are not allowed to "convert" people either. only give the information they ask for. it is their decision to choose islam or not and only Allah guides people to the straight path.

from the quran.... Indeed for those who disbelieve, neither their wealth nor their offspring will help to save them in the least from Allah; and it is they who are fuel for the fire.

[A/I`mran 3:11] Like the way of Firaun’s people, and those before them; they denied Our signs; so Allah seized them because of their sins; and Allah’s punishment is severe

Hey
remember one thing:
Mohammad is still in the grave. Jesus rose from the grave.
a "prophet" just lays in the grave. Jesus was God in the flesh, after three days, He rose again!!!
