Something difficult...I had the same problems with dogs I used to have. What I did was: first seperate them in diffrent rooms. If you have a glass door, that's great, or just have some way to let them SEE each other, and after few weeks/month try to have them together. If they have a fight, seperate them again. You have to have both dogs play with each other with YOU.

i have two dogs and the older one gets jealous easily. What we did is let the older walk outside while the newer one got to the surrooundings. When you are ready bring in the other dog and let them get to know each other. Just let them sniff, and soon the older dog probaly wont be as jealous if it likes the new dog. They will soon become best friends and wont need as much attention.

Jealousy is undoubtedly the strongest emotion in the canine. bringing another on the scene can present problems. If you are going to introdce another try starting them out in the yard together without human involvement for a couple ,few days and then gradually put more time in with the both of them.Hope you have a fenced yard ,Good luck

Oh.. that is a difficult one. I can say that if you have two or more cats.. ONE cat will be considered (among the cats) to be Kitty Number one.. same with the dogs. In all probability, the older dog will be dominant but not to worry.... it is all worked out in the dog world.. BUT.. give BOTH of them equal love

if you get a new dog let the older dog meet the new dog someplace neutral away from you home like at the park. Let them gradually come to gether and sniff each other thats how they say hi.

I'm not sure myself, but first I would check out the Dog Whisperer-Cesar Milan-he has a book and a video and I love to watch him on National Geographic. I've learned some things to do with my Bichon/maltese mix, Daisy on how to walk on leash and barking. "We" are still learning. Check him out. He is great.
