Don't listen to the cynics. Listen to what your gut feeling, your heart is telling you. This child may very well be a reincarnation of the saint. Or perhaps this saint is his spirit guide in the spiritual dimension. Life is so much more than we know of here in this physical dimension. Children still remember much of the truth of their souls from the spiritual dimension until about age 3. Our souls are all eternal and we make the decision to incarnate physically while we are still souls in the spiritual dimension. At that time, we also choose a spirit guide or guides to be with us during our lifetimes. They are with us constantly. Just call upon them for assistance, anytime.

Now, does this mean that your child is a saint or will be in this lifetime, probably not, but don't ignore the little communication that you are recieving from him and don't belittle it. You believe in your heart that there is a connection. Go with it.

Good grief - NO! Your precious child is smiling at an image that impresses him - not who the picture is of.

I took a picture of a shadow cast by our lawn swing. The shadow looks very much like what one would expect the shadow of Jesus on the Cross would look like,

Is it a Holy Miracle? NO! The shadow is at best a curiosity but NOT a Miracle of any sort, not even a sign of anything. Every day at exactly 12:30 the shadow takes form. Why? because the sun aligns just right with other elements to make a shadow that looks like Jesus on the Cross - yet - its still a shadow.

Wise up. I believe in miracles and signs - but Roman Catholics go way over board.

Could be. There are many similar stories although none have been "scientifically" proven. For example, review the literature about Padre Pio. God really does work in mysterious ways. I would pray, asking for guidance. Ask the Saint for guidance too.

I think it is more likely that your infant is still halfway in a different realm and he can still see spirits that are all around us. They are probably playing goo goo games with him and he is responding. It may or may not have anything to do with the saint, but who knows, maybe even saints reincarnate.
I think it's very observant of you to see what he is observing. Good Mama.

the saint might have looked funny to your child, or that may be a sign of something.

Absolutely...photograph profusely, take lots of video, and keep a carafe of water handy in the room at all times. IF the picture starts to smile back, a fortune is waiting to be made...but it must be documented and sold!

Babies and young children are born with an open-third eye and are able to see guardians and spirits. Be sure to record these events because it may have meaning for your child as he grows to be an adult.

yes it is a sign. It is a sign that you need to burp that kid and change its diaper. Or it could be a miracle. At any rate, be nice, don't fight and have a piece of pie.
