in canada the legal drinking age is 18, so when you go to the us can you still drink? or do you have to be 21?

Some places in Canada I think the legal age is 19. Any where the US legal age is 21.

The federal gov. attatched the drinking age to the highway funding bill in the 70s. If the state didn't make the age limit 21- They cut off the highway funds. Before that the age was 18 in Montana and we didn't have anymore trouble with drinking there.

No you can't drink booze until you are 21...conversely, you can drink in Canada at age 18.

You have to be 21 to drink in the US if you are going to the bars. They don't care if you're of legal drinking age in your home country - in their's you follow their rules.

18 here in the states, you can go and die for our country, but to drink you have to 21. Pretty screwed up huh?
