Wow, that is scary. Everyone is praying, running to buy a gun, or headed to the National Guard. Don't any of you people already have a gun to defend yourselves from zombies, or the would-be dumb a$$ that might crawl in your window?
Now there is nothing wrong with praying, but God won't do it for you. Pray for accuracy, that's what I'll pray for.

My wife and I would escape our apartment via a previously mapped out route avoiding areas where there are most likely to be zombies and make our way to the national guard base in town. We would then arm ourselves and who ever else we managed to find along the way.
After arming our group we'd fortify our location and radio for reinforcments. If all else failed we'd ready ourselves for an escape to some wooded mountainy area and hold up there till zombied were destroyed, or we were rescued and relocated to a zombie free territory.
