does any body have a good recipie?

32 oz. can pork and beans
1 lrg. onion - chopped fine
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 Tbls. prepared yellow mustard
1 tsp. distilled white vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 lb. raw bacon (option, but recommended)


-Combine all ingredients, except bacon, in a 2 quart casserole dish.
-Top beans with strips of bacon in a crisscross pattern.
-Cover with aluminum foil.
-Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours.
-Remove foil for last 30 minutes of baking.

poor the can( about 4 small cans) of baked beans into pot or pan, than add about a cup or two of ketchup and two tablespoons of mustard, some salt(just a tiny pinch) and pepper, minced onions half a cup and chopped green peppers one cup and minced red peper, half a cup than add brown sugar one and a quarter cup and some worcheshire sauce three teaspoons mix it up and taste it. add stuff to fix it if needed it should taste pretty good. Add honey a little too that wil tang it slightly oh and some vigar like two tablespoons cook the bacon separtly and lightly cooked add to top simmer over the stove with the lid on or place in oven covered in foil on 250 degerees. chek everyten minutes to stirr and taste.... good luck its a rough recipe!

I always use pork and beans to start with.
Cook until crisp ...about 4 slices of baccon per can of beans...drain the baccon and break into pieces.
Add to taste...brown sugar, catsup, mustard,( small amount of mustard) chopped onion, bell peppers. Mix well...and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. You can saute the onion and bell pepper in a little baccon grease before adding.

prepare a bag of white beans as the package says.
2 cans of black beans- drained
bacon as much as you like, i use a package 1/2 cooked
small onion-chopped
3/4 green pepper
bottle of hickory bbq sauce
small bottle ketchup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
mix everything together
cook for 45 @350

If you want to make them from almost scratch, get : pork & beans,molasses, green onions, & bacon. I fry the bacon first, then add on top when beans are near done. I also add a little mustard for a sweet & sour flavor. If you try it, hope you like it.

start with a couple of cans of baked beans. cook bacon. add some onions to the bacon. cook til onions look sauteed. add bacon mixture to beans.add brown sugar and a little molasses. and just a small amount of yellow mustard.

heres what i do, i get some baked beans out of the can then put in some ketchup, a pinch of brown sugar, some bacon real or the kind that is packaged and diced onions yuuummmm!!!

I would just put brown sugar with bacon strips on top and bake in oven
