No, a dog's jaw can only move up and down. Humans can chew with their mouths closed because they can grind the food by moving their jaw left and right.

I have 2 dogs, 5 and 10 years old, and I've never seen them do it.

No, but they cannot talk with their mouths full, either, so it evens out.
