It depends on what degree they have and what type of counseling and where they work. Income can range anywhere from 20,000 a year to 70,000 a year.

We do family counseling as a social obligation to support the needy and desperate women.But business counseling we charge on assignment basis. Many Entrepreneurs retain counselors service on yearly basis and make payment monthly also.It again depends on how resourceful you are in providing right information in time.If you are resourceful enough/having good network of professionals you can easily make minimum five figure to start with and the satisfied customer will bring you the business next.Until you establish yourself don't give much importance for money. Develop a team of professionals.

it depends on the experience and the degree that the person holds, like myself if I'm lucky i will make at least 75,000-close to 100,000 a year because of my degree, and experience.
