i dont think that i made myself clear. we are simply dating. i cant figure out how we go from going out, having a good time to having anxiety about having to pay child support that nobodys even mentioned

well....first its a burden to the guy...and most of the guys don't really wanna raise other people's child for free...they ussually want their own child instead...and there is alot of resposibility to take for a guy that doesn't want to have a child..

You know what i have recieved the totally oposite result . Men have actually been more attracted to me since i had my son. But i can see why some men wouldnt . A real man wouldnt have an issue because he will take care of that child like its his own . Now if its a guy who just wants to play games he wont like that because there's baggage ( so they say) involoved . They dont want to hear oh i gotta get a babysitter. Its just up n go for the players. Anyways good luck and look to the sky!
also some guys feel as though if they do get invloved wit hyou and you guys have a famliy then theres possibly a baby's father involoved or he could be thinking you might treat the kids u guys have together differently . i mean theres so many different people theres so many different answers!

You are not less attractive,some men might get scared off from the fact of the child's father might still be involved and not really wanting to deal with all the drama that ex's can cause.There are some that really like children too though.Maybe it is you just reading into that you think they are not interested or judging one date from the next and giving off the signal of it is okay if you don't want to se me or something,be more positive in yourself and just keep dating,Mr.right will come along when the time is right,those that are patient good things come to them!I wish you the best and Good Luck!

Because it shows that you're unable to maintain a relationship in spite of the fact that you had a child/children with another man.
Of course it could be that the other man left, but specifics don't matter when you're first meeting someone. Perception is everything.
Being a single mother implies that you're either difficult to live with, irresponsible, or immature.
Plus, dating a woman with a child means that the guy doesn't ever get to be alone with you...not truly alone with you.

a woman is no less attractive if she has a child, it is just that if you choose to have a relationship with a woman that has a child you are in essence having a relationship with not just her but her children as well, as children are usually and should be most important to their mother, then the guy may feel left out or second choice , it just brings out some complications that if the woman is a good woman its worth it.

well i have two answers:
first if a guy is turned off just because you have a child, that says a lot about that guy right there, and u probably want to do better for urself.
second, alot of women lose their shape after a child and dont do anything about it.(I hope that doesnt sound shallow, but I'm being real)

This doesn't apply to all men. I've dated women with children and didn't think any less of them, nor was I any less attracted to them. To me, children aren't an issue at all.
If the guy doesn't like children, he's not the kind of guy you want to be dating anyway. Consider your child a blessing. He or she helps weed out all of the losers out there.

Bringing a child into a relationship makes things more complicated. If he can choose anyone to fall in love with, why pick a relationship with extra issues from the get go.

Sorry to say a woman does seem less attractive if she has a kid by someone else....It does not affect how good looking she might be...It seems to me that you have a problem with her having a kid by someone else...Because maybe you are worried about her Baby Daddy Drama that might come from it...Which I can not blame you for...But not all single mother have Baby Daddy Drama to give anyone...

being a guy I can answer this one pretty well:P Men to not have the attachment to kids that women do, as such if it is not thiers it is not thiers. As guys get older it the kid thing is less and less important. but depends on the guy. there are some good guys out there that would be okay with you having a kid:P if they aren't then you really don't need to be with them anyhow you can do better:P
