My friend just moved to Los Angelas and can't find any place that sales pressing oil. He is in the Silver lake area and would like to know if there is a Sally's hair salon or any other type of place that would sale it. thanks

He should jus tdo what everyone else here in LA does. Order it online. Other than that the only places I know of that will have that stuff is black hair salons. They usually have all the really tough hair products.

Look up Sally's online and ask their website for locations.
But out of all the cities in California, why LA? I know some cities in the north part of the state have a Cathy's Wig salon. Not sure about LA area.

The best way to find shops in LA is on the BUS. Just get a DAY PASS for $3.00 & ride the bus & you'll be amazed what you can see when you don't have to drive yourself around! Stay on the main street & try going West towards Hollywood. There are many many many beauty supply shops just about everywhere in the whole LA area & you will never find them in the phone book! Try Yahoo! Local. Type in Sally Beauty Salon, then the address where he/she lives, and there should be a list of the closest ones!
