Pro-choicers claim fetuses are not living humans until birth. In fact, they claim fetuses are more like parasites since they only take from the woman and not give. If this is true, then is pregnancy a sickness? Are fetuses a disease, and abortion is the cure? Since pregnancy is the result of sex, are fetuses an STD? In not, then what are fetuses?

Are we talking pregnancy out of wedlock? Are we talking abortion? The question is not well worded. I hate the word fetus. Yet, I am 22 yrs old, single with a 6 mo old boy born 13 weeks early. I took care of myself while pregnant, I was very educated on HOW you get pregnant AND I consider myself a pretty good mother. I've been through things with my 6 mo old the majority of mothers won't go through with their children their whole lives. So, what does your question mean? Am I uneducated?

Ignorance and a lack of education is an epidemic. That is what leads to so many unwanted pregnancies and that is what leads one to have an abortion in the first place.

No, it isn't an epidemic or an STD.

I'm a feminist, not one of the current crazed ones - I'm really for the old feministic values: male and female equality, anti-domestic violence, and voting rights, etc.
