Yes. If they have a cold, the flu, or many other common contageous diseases, you could get it even from shaking hands, being sneezed on, or a kiss on the cheek, let alone an actual kiss. There are other things you can get from the extra fluid contact from kissing on the mouth, like mono (which is sometimes refered to as "the kissing disease"), cold sores (which are caused by the herpes virus), and many others. It is also possible to transmit HIV by kissing if the person has an open sore in their mouth.

Hi, Yes you can get so many different infections, viruses, bacteria and diseases from kissing. Many are extremely rare to catch but there are many simple ones that you will be stuck with for life. Any bodily fluid has the potention to harbour diseases and infections. Go to any web site on contractable infectious diseases and you can read for yourself.
Take care.

Yes you can but its rare and if your really worried ask the person. Just kiss people you know. Relax and quit getting overwhelmed. Its ok to kiss someone. Chill. You are getting a phobia over nothing.

Yes you can catch an STD that is spread through contact with bodily fluids, even though there aren't enough of most bloodborne pathogens that are carried in saliva. You are also vulnerable for the disease commonly referred to as "The Kissing Disease"... Mono!

Of course you can: Herpes, mononucleosis, common cold, and many other illnesses. Most serious diseases such as HIV and other STDs; however, cannot be contracted by kissing. It depends on what kind of infection you are talking about.

Yes. Infections are spread through your mucous membranes. Your eyes, nose, mouth and genital areas are mucous membranes and you can contract an infection through broken skin.
