Wow, that's a thought provoker. It never occurred to me, but then, I've never had the idea that God didn't exist.
LOL, this is the first time I wanted to put my two cents in, and discovered that I'm broke!!

No. There are more logical questions than that. And I believe in God, but even if He does not exists ( BIG IF), why would someone want to commit suicide. We should live our lives to the fullest everyday.

What does committing suicide have to do with the existence of God. Yes, it may be one of the many questions......but God existing doesn't affect life ON earth, it affects the afterlife. So why would you suddenly commit suicide? Your life would still be the same.....

its logical all right. but its not what im going to do. im going to get wasted each and every day. whats the point of doing good anyway. no God means no reward in heaven. so get wasted- have sex, do drugs, steal, ***** around, **** some more, whatever makes u high. which, if you really think about it, just some other forms of suicide. Whew, thank god theres a God or the world would have gone over the toppest top.

How would that be logical? It would be logical in someone's mind who believes in only God, but to someone who does not believe in God, it wouldn't be logical at all: your life ends at some point. Why not make the most of it, not only for yourself, but for others? If you suffer, find another start. If you're ill or sick, make peace with those who will live on.
If God doesn't exist, then every minute would be beyond worth since it's all you have. EVER. Every life you are a part of is worthwhile, since you can make someone else's life better simply with a smile or an open ear. You would have the choice to throw it away through suicide, but you would be wasting everyone's time with your life: your parents, your friends, your teachers, your loved ones.
Sure you could resent such a choice... but with such a short life, you wouldn't have much time to gain sympathy for such a choice, especially since so many others are trying to help others any way they can.
Myself, I am a Secular Humanist, but I find so much in common with religion for one particular reason: the most noble pursuit in mankind is to serve each other. Through service, we become free. By helping your neighbor, by spending time with others does your life become richer. By doing so in my own life, I have gained a deeper appreciation and love for all of humanity, even people of faith, and helping them to make their lives easier in any means makes me feel good. For people who believe in God, it's the best way I can explain what I believe.
That's my philosophy, anyway. You want a brilliant poem? Talk to a sensitive loner. You want to see someone devout to God without Jesus Christ, talk to someone in a Synagogue, and to see life without God, ask an Atheist. You may not like the answer, but it's there, and it does work.

If god does not exist, then our meaning is in this life -- not the next. Everything we have is here -- so suicide means giving up everything.
If you were told by God that you were going to go to Hell no matter what -- would you commit suicide? Nope -- you would party until you died.

Well, when you die you're gonna just rot in the ground, so why commit suicide and waste a perfectly good life. You should have a good time, cuz obviously, you can't do that when you're six feet under, am I right?

If God does not exist suicide would infact stop the pain. But thank God that God does exist and He gives His people a reward.
1jo 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Ga 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Ga 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
Ga 4:7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Ro 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Ro 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Ro 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
Ro 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Ro 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Ro 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Re 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Re 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Re 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
Re 2:28 And I will give him the morning star.
Joh 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

I agree that the question you posed is illogical.
There are millions of logical questions that have no relation to myths or suicide.
