and we agree on that....ALL OF US. How do you expect me or anyone for that matter to make the children pay for the sins of their parents? Do these children deserve an education? I know I am going to get ALOT of ......."they are degenerating the schools for OUR kids".....I GET THAT.....I know that is how you feel. BUT they are here and EVERYONE deserves an education.....should they stay home? They are not going anywhere (for a while at least)......Do these precious children deserve an education......regardless of how they got here?

So basically....by just what I have read SO FAR...98 percent feel the children DO pay for the sins of their parents. Not one person said......."EDUCATION IS THE KEY THAT UNLOCKS DOORS". I myself DO NOT rely on the "system" to teach MY daughter.......it IS my responsiblity .....no matter where I live or how I got there.

OK I will give you a real answer, but you will probably not even read it!
what you state is true. children need an education. and that responsibility falls upon the government of the country where that child is a citizen.
The parents bring their children here illegally, the child has no choice, I understand that! but it would be the fault of the parent that the child has no education not the government of the United States of America!
This should be an important incentive for illegals to stay home!
who says everyone deserves and education?
I worked hard in high school but I could not get a government paid education, should a high school dropout get free school? Hell they HAD free school and they pissed it away!
I didn't deserve the free education more than some burnout that quit or was expelled?
As I have said the conditions of their home country are of no concern to me as I have my own problems and they need to effect changes in their homelands, where ever that may be!
will children suffer?
only if lawless parents allow their own children to suffer!

An honest question. But what you're basically saying is that people can break the law and not pay the consequences if they have children. If the children stay, then the parents have to stay.
And why can't the children go to school in Mexico? I ask this question because no matter how you answer it, you are describing the REAL problem.
And, speaking of things that need to be fixed, I'm not sure the children here legally are getting all that great an education in our current school system.

The issue immigration is causing is over crowding in schools and the children's parents don't pay for school tax so there is absolutely no money going to the schools for these children. Public schools have classes that are 40-50 children.
Immigration is a country wide issue. 10 years ago is was only the Mexican border states, but now they've been migrating to non-immigrant states (i.e. Washington, Tennessee, Oregon, Pennsylvania, etc.) and causing language barriers. Immigrant children in public schools go there knowing little or no English and make it nearly impossible to properly teach. Immigrant children are learning English 5 or 6 years later.
I do believe that immigrant children deserve a right to earn an education, but not at our expense. More money must be taken out of our schools' budget for these non-English speaking immigrant children because our schools now have to accommodate to their disability and bring in teachers in their native language. There needs to be a universal language so immigrants and citizens can communicate a little easier.

no longer see you later as those with money and capacity run the country. Blue collar workers are the in person-friendly words those who do no longer want the illigal immigrants right here. All illegals, no longer merely mexicans. those who've the money and the capacity like the very incontrovertible reality that they could have less costly exertions and make extra money for themselves. additionally they don't see what their a lot less influential individuals (us) see and manage on a commonly used foundation. after all, they ( illigal immigrants) go away the wealthy neighborhoods by utilizing 5:00 or perhaps as the backyard is complete or the pool is clean. they do no longer could be stressful about operating 2 or 3 jobs to pay the costs because they could't get a job which will pay adequate to safeguard their households. Mexicans aren't any more the in person-friendly words those who may have children, besides the undeniable fact that, individuals, both black and white are discouraged from having better than they could grant for. Mexicans are excused from this with the aid of faith (so i'm advised) So truly lengthy tale short. see you later as those with the money and the capacity administration the country, No illilgal immigration isn't solved. (they are going to shuffle their feet, purely adequate to make you imagine they are engaged on it.) yet no longer something will replace:( :(

Simply because"they are here" is your reasoning for this. Since the American public is paying the bills for these ones that are here, should we do like the government did to natives and open up boarding schools for the "Illegal" children and teach them to be totally American unlike their forbears who will tell you that they are "mexican",or latino if you ask them. They would be getting an education at the very least, and it would still be free.
Upon graduation from the school these little ones would be given the oath of American citizenship and be free to be the best they could be. It worked on the native peoples of this country, why not "illegals" children?
There is always a price to be paid for freedom, what are you willing to give?

I just read an article about a border town in Arizona where Mexican parents send their kids to the border in taxis, they walk across and go to school. School isn't free in Mexico, and it is paid for by us here.
You don't want to hear that it denegrates our own children's education, which in border towns is already substandard, so maybe you just want people to agree with you.
I don't know what to do about this one. I think free education is a huge reason they come, so it isn't really a matter of 'now that they are here'.
The lifeboat is too small if our own children can't be properly educated too, I think. However, I don't know how we can turn them away. I am just conflicted on this point.
---
OK I changed my mind. I'd want real border security, interior enforcement, employer accountability and then would legalize screened illegals here (NOT to bring in absent family.) THEN I would say stop education to illegals, and anyone crossing the border from here on out would know that was part of the deal before they came.
OK, when you said 'I get that' I took that to mean 'I don't want to hear that again.' If that isn't what you meant, I misinterpreted.

Who is stopping some from going to their home country and teaching them?
Even Teachers see problems with the mass coming-or haven't you looked at their boards.
Children do pay for the sins of the parents. Too bad the Parents didn't think of that.
Education is not hard to find-they have educated people in Mexico. Many have won scholarships. Even in very poor countries many have educated themselves.
What you asking is why don't we pay for their education. The Teachers say are kids are going down because of time spent on others. Is that fair to them??
Why don't you go down if your so worried -just like Mother Theresa with a slant and teach them all you know? It worked for her with just a slant-and many of her students are doing very well-look that up too.
Mexico has some fine educated people.
I think you are trying to use the pity card. Pity them but not ours.
Funny not many educated here are going back to help to their own country-does this mean they don't care ? Where is their pity?

How would you like your child in kindergarten through 12th grade attending classes with kids who can't read, write, speak or understand English--or American education values? Furthermore, how would you feel if those students felt zero investment in education, in English and the American way? How would you like your child's education dumbed down to that of a classroom from the Third World? Guess what? Today, if you're a parent of a child in thousands of classrooms across America, that's what's happening to your children with your tax dollars.
i feel for them but we cant keep this up and if mexico doesn't clean its act up this is doomed to repeat itself and i am sure we will have people who will say let them stay when is ok for us to say enough . there will always be poor people and we should help them but within reason and on our own terms not demands. mexico must start taking care of its own and we must demand it only then can we become good neighbor's

What will happen to US born children that get deported along with their illegal parents and get sub par education in their parents homeland. In a few years they will be able to return to the US and claim their citizenship? They wont be able to get qualified jobs and might relapse into crime, they may demand huge investments in retraining, they might even be able to sue the government for stripping them from their citizen's rights incurring in liabilities.
When they return, they will likely bring their girlfriends/boyfriends as spouse. It is highly probable that, with the US born deported, an amount of non US born deported kids return as spouse, after all, when these kids get sent back to Mexico (mainly) they'll be seen as outsiders and will have a common culture (the immigrant culture) and are likely to bond. Some of the returning citizens may bring back spouses as part of an arranged marriage (after all, being raised in a poorer situation, they might need the money to start life in the US). They will be able to do all that legally and their will be nothing to be done then. So it might be cheaper to provide these kids, especially the citizens (but even the non citizens) with a decent education, lest you create a hordes of ignorant and unqualified citizens and legals.

Yes all children deserve to live with their parents and get an education. It is your parents responsibility to educate you not the states. We pay taxes so the states can educate our children better than we might be able to.
If they are children of illegals, they should be sent back to the country of their parents and be educated by their parents or their country.
