I asked for a transfer.People who did not ask for a transfer were transferred.I suspect I was blackballed. For months I prayed before I asked for the transfer. Then after I applied I prayed, read my Bible, fasted, praised etc.I have submitted myself to God's will and told Him I will go wherever He sends me.I met the person responsible for transfers and spoke with him.He told me I would know by the end of the week(June 30).The person he said he would inform said he got no information. I am on 'vacation' and still do not know.I cannot understand why this person would lie to me.As for God, I told God I would go where he sent, even to locale X. I waited for a friend and this delay enable me to see the person responsible for transfer.During a Q&A session, he mentioned that locale X needed someone. After the meeting he told me to visit him.I did and he seemed satisfied with what I had to say. Am I impatient or is this delay the hand of God at work?I need an answer.

My request for a transfer is not selfish. As an educator, I believe that God can use me in a locale where others may not be eager to go because of family and other ties.I have no ties to remain where I am; and I believe God can use me more in another area.

I was blackballed by a co-worker several years ago.For several months I could not get a job. When I stopped using her as a reference I started to get job offers.
The first job offer was at brand new school with a very large gym, which was what I wanted ! I was offered $3,000 more per year than before. They even called me three times telling me they really hoped I would get on with them.

Remember when windows seem to close,God opens doors !
And God will give the desires of Your heart !
Keep praying and trusting God,He wants the best for you !
God is in control !

if you get it, great. if you don't, then it wasn't meant to be. God works in mysterious ways. sometimes he'll take you down a notch or two to get you where he thinks you need to go. praying for something specific usually is a sure way to NOT get it unless your in dire straits, life or death situations. maybe Gods telling that guy to NOT allow the transfer. theres no real way to tell for sure. just keep praying to GOD, not for the transfer, but for the other guy to have the wisdom to make the right decision whether or not its in your favor. GOD doesn't reward selfishness thats for sure. and it sounds like the transfer is for selfish reasons. and yes, i've been blackballed. numerous times. once by my boss because he didn't think i was good enough to be in the same association as he. i was devastated, still am a bit. it would have changed my life for the better in most every way. guess it wasn't meant to be. so i took a different path and now i'm his equal but still not in that particular association though. their loss, not mine.

Often, the act of wanting something SO much, actually pushes it away from us. By saying that you want something, you will simply continue to experience wanting it, without actually receiving it. I don't know how you pray, but if you are praying in supplication, ie. "Lord, I want this transfer so much, please let me get this transfer", you are simply saying that you want this transfer and that's what you will continue to experience. Try praying in a prayer of thanks, with the deep and abiding faith that God has answered your prayers, before you have even asked. Thank you God, for the transfer that I am receiving. You can even put a timeline around it if you want to. Thank you for the transfer to locale X that I am receiving by July 3rd. Thank you for always answering my prayers.

You see, God always answers prayers, we just don't always allow them. Nor do we always pray for the right thing in the right way. I suspect that you were asking God to grant you this prayer. We must pray with the supposition that our desire already exists. If you pray that you want something, then you will continue to experience wanting it. If you pray a prayer of thanks that you already have it, now, it can't fail to materialize into your existence. It may not come in the way that you envisioned, but God will make it happen in God's own way.

I hope this helps.

Sounds like you just want to go period with nothing to do with God's plan. Hey you said "you were telling God." There may be reasons why you're not going there and God is protecting you from it. So calm down, keep busy doing the excellent work and trust.

Do you really think that if God exists, he would help you get a transfer at work, before solving all the problems of the world as a whole.

The operative word you said are: "I told God I would go where he sent, even. . . "

So.

At some point you have to stop telling God what you want and accept what he wants. you still sound like YOURE making the decisions. Chill out, and accept whatever happens.

You should not question God because he is all knowing. Maybe he is keeping you from danger, or keeping you where you are for another reasons. Just seek to know his plan for you and let God have His. God Bless

If you are truly willing to be where God wants you to be, then relax and leave it with him. He may want you to remain where you are for the time being. When he wants you to be somewhere else, he'll work it out. When God wants something done, people aren't going to stand in his way. I have seen him overrule humans to accomplish what he wants.

I'd say God's time is much different than our own. You may not understand why this is happening to you for another 3 years. Who knows where it could lead?
