T H Sorry the answer is no. Unfortunately there is no guarantee that treatment would always be available. The potential to be in a stressful situation which could exacerbate the depression is too high of a risk

in your mental state, it could hamper your ability to perform, as a soldier would under heavy stressful battle conditions. you must have a clear mind and be level-headed
before you know it, you may have to take command of a squad-how are you going to handle it? so in my mind, you are not fit for active duty. possibly a desk job might befit you.
