See the movie Last Night...it's pretty good...a bit edgy and not for the faint-hearted.
I try to always assume I have one day left.
My wife was 22 when she got sick one day and died. She had one day. I had one day WITH her. She had the "flu" but we did not know anything was really wrong until the last 6 hours when she was in isolation....away from me. It turned out to be bacterial meningitis. It's quick.
So that whole day I was fortunate enough to say everything I would have said if I knew she was leaving the Earth.
There were a few questions that I've thought of over the years that I would've liked to ask.....but in "real time" I was strangely satisfied with our life and relationship up to the "last minute".

I would go talk to my dean and see if he can make me an honorary pediatrician before I die so I can at least achieve my life long goal. And then once I figure out how to stop myself from dying I'll already be a doctor so I wont need to finish my last five years of University!!! YAY!!

spend the time with all my freinds and loved ones and hope like hell it wasnt really going to happen,the thought of dyeing freaks me out because Ive been having a lot of dreams lately where I wake up right before I die and in the dreams I KNOW Im dying!

Preserve some egg cells so my DNA could be passed on. Tell my family, friends, and my girlfriend that I love them. Skydive. Eat my favorite foods without feeling guilty. Go out and play basketball.

First I would get rid of my stuff and say good-bye to the ones I love then I'd do Heroin. Seriously. They say its the most addicting drug and I'd want to see if its true. If I'm dieing the next day it wouldn't matter!!

I would honestly walk out of my life! school/work/friends/family and i would want to go and stay my last night in a church saying all that i wanted to say. since i have no more busy schedule i can ask God to take me home softly and quietly
