That rather depends on whether or not she was the primary care giver ... if your mom wasn't able to look after you in the country you're from ... what age you were ... if you had your own passport ... if your aunt was posing as your mother instead of giving the whole truth, you may have a spot of trouble ... how long ago was this by the way?

Was she your primary care-giver. Like is your mother dead, in jail, or a drug addict? If so, then they might "forgive" you.
