Awww. I KNEW he loved me! He does seem to lick more when I have been shucking oysters or filleting fish though!

There is the whole social grooming thing, of course, but there are other reasons, too. For instance; you are enjoying your precious hours of sleep in warmth and comfort, when suddenly your face is attacked by something reminiscent of moist sandpaper. Oh...Kitty is hungry.
My cat considers me the gang's cook!

I don't own a cat,but my daughters dog will come up from behind me and lick my calf.He makes me feel like he is marking me.LoL! My cockatiel will groom my hair and kiss my cheek,I think that means he thinks of me as his mate! LOL! That's sweet considering i just got him used to two days ago.Cool huh?
Be Blessed! Monica
