What did the prophet Elijah learn after the drought and the sign of fire from heaven?

In your own opinion? See 1 Kings 19:4 in the Bible for an example of what he was feeling, but I'd like to hear people's opinion on what a living prophet would have to learn from people who would not change even when faced with very obvious signs.

He still had a ways to go after this fleeing Jezebel . He thought he was the only one left but God revealed to Him that He still had His own people who had not bowed to baal.
