There is no Satan. Seriously. If there were a Satan then there would be some question that there is something that God cannot be, do or have. Do you really think that there is some war that God could lose? No. Satan and evil are purely human constructs, created by early humans to explain away such things as death, disease, pestilence and natural disasters, until science evolved enough to explain these phenomena.

hmm...you opened up a can of worms with this one. Satan isn't God's match, that much is true. However, Satan can be more than a match for any one human being. he must be taught about in order to keep people from succumbing to his evil, and to encourage people to find christianity. the only way to truly defeat Satan is to enlist the aide of the only singular being who can defeat him: God.

BECAUSE SATAN DECEIVES THE WHOLE WORLD , BECAUSE HE HATES MEN AND WOMEN AND DOES NOT WANT US TO BE IN THE FIRST RESURECTION AT CHRIST RETURN.

Even though the victory is already at God's hands, I think they teach about satan because he can distract me or you or anybody else from going to heaven.

There is no true evil, nor no true good. It's all about actions. You are responsible for what you send out in the universe, good or bad, not some deity. The Devil can't make you do anything you didn't already want to do anyway.

As a warning to us that there is someone that wants to us dead since God created us in His image. Satan hates that and he will take as many of us with him if we let him.
Would you not want to be warned of coming danger if it was possible? We have that and we get bashed in here when we answer questions and basically told to shut up. But we try to warn as God wants us to do.
