I have a 6 week kitten that I got several days ago. Recently, I've been waking up in the middle of the night because he keeps licking my lips. I pushed him off my bed but he comes back to lick my lips again. I have to pull the blanket over my head to keep him from kissing me.
How do I stop him from doing this!!!!!!!

My dog used to do this to me all the time. It was disgusting, so whenevr he tried to lick my lips, I gently pushed him way, and talked in a firm voice. I would say "No, stop." Then if he did it again, I would say "Stop. Bad dog." In the same firm voice, and push him off the bed, or whever I was sitting. Eventually, he stopped licking my lips, but every now and then he licks my fingers(especially when I have barbecue sauce on them) lol good luck and I hope your kitten stops licking your lips. : )

Before you go to bed rub lemon juice on your lips so when he licks them he won't like the taste and if you do that for a few nights he will stop

A quick puff of air into his mouth when he begins licking you will soon keep him from bothering you like this. He will soon learn that doing that causes this unpleasant blast and he will quit.
Unless you are eating or drinking something just before bed that he really, REALLY likes. In that case, just stop eating that food before you go off to bed.

That's hiliarious and sick at the same time. LOL Try putting medicated chapstick on your lips with menthol that tastes nasty. Maybe the little kitty won't like the taste. If that doesn't work try bengay.

He's still young. my kitten did this for awhile. I wound up shutting him out of the bedroom until he got older. He will grow out of it. Good news is it seems like he adores you!
