She's 1 year old grey and white stripy tabby ( i think) Cat. We got her at the humain society. She was rescued from a homeless camp with about 16 other kittens. She's awesome so far..but I'm tired of calling her kitty.

TS Elliott said all cats have three names. The name we properly call them by, say the one on the vet's chart, Mr. Tibbles. The one that the family calls the cat, Tibby and if we are very lucky the one that the cat will share with you. What I am trying to say is don't be in a rush to name your friend she will let you know what her name is in due time.

My 14 year old is Jerry Garcia, his 12 year old brother is Jamers. Our recently deceased 2 year old was properly known as Ophelia but was "Princess" to all that knew her and that was a rank not a name. Cats will let you know their own names you just have to be patient and listen.

Well, if shes a "white stripy tabby", then maybe you should call her Tabby. Thats what my friend named her dog. Also, you could name her Frisky, or Patches. Or, just find a unique quality about her, and then name her that, or something related to that. Anyways, I wish you the best of luck with your new kitten, and I hope you find the perfect name for her. <3

How about lucky? she is lucky to have someone like you to take her in and love her. There are too many animals people do not care enough for, and I think it was great you took her in. Good luck!
