About hair extensions?

Okay, I'm white, and I want long hair. My hair right now is down to my shoulders, and I want it to my bust or something. So if anyone has alot of information on how hard it is to keep care of extensions or something, and the pricing, and where I could get them done, that would be absolutley wonderful!! I live in Oklahoma.
