I put it in the religious section since its religious people who answer a question about food with its what god gave us, or how do I change the tyre on my car and its a case of god will help you when the time comes... hows that useful to anyone... its probably just to get points!

well see there you are wrong. I am entitled to free speech, so if i want to say something about my religion, so be it.

The questions being answered on Yahoo Answers are not all being answered by professionals.

I have a question for you.

Why do people answer with the complete wrong answer? Now that is the question you should have asked. (It's true though, anytime i ask a question I will have atleast 1 answer that is completely irrelevant)

It's because they wanna use religion to justify or to use as an ethic source. Even if the question is not in anyway related to religions. People are crazy. A lot of people are like, this is a religion subject you placed your question in. True but that's the question you wrote about other question when they are not placed under religion. Stupid crazy *** people.

Some people are answering out of a real concern for others. If you knew someone had a disease, and you knew the cure for that disease, you might share it with them even if they asked for something unrelated, at least to let them know the cure was available.

It depends on the question being asked. If it has something to do with moral issues, than people bring in their beliefs. Sex is one of the topics that I imagine this happens a lot in.

Well, this is supposed to be a religious site, is it not? If you don't like the bible answers for your questions, why do you want to ask them on this site and not pick another? Plenty to choose from you know.

If you are asking questions regarding religion wouldn't you expect a response in the same field?

People are allowed to have an opinion, aren't they?

Imagine that ..I mean really..how dare someone answer a question in the "religion" section of Answers, with actual religion talk...they should be quartered and then shot...how dare they.

Because religion is such a large influence, it can cause people to want to spread the word on others who may not welcome it. Be glad that these people rejoice in their faith and just because you don't feel the same way, don't put them down! GOD bless, maymay
