I have depression it is very hard to understand, I take medication. I take alot of medication. It does help. Depression is something that can run in your family. That is a known fact. My father and mother both had it. I have been treated for about 3 years. It changed when my third child was born. It started out as post partium, then went into full depression. FInd a good doctor.

Yes. All of my sisters do too. My one has really bad seasonal depression. We get it from my moms side, I am pregnant and its good some days and some days are just like watch out! My poor husband, but he puts up with it and me which I am very grateful for. He puts up with alot of my ****! BUT what cures my depression is tanning. I get a tanning membership for a month and let me tell you I feel 1,000 times better when I do. I wish I could tan while being pregnant!

Yes. Not fun.
I've had Major Depression three times and Disthymia more or less all the time since I was a teenager. I take an anti-depressant, --Celexa-- and it actually does some good.

why are you asking? well at times i believe i do(actual depression as i'll explain). many people say they are "depressed" but i wouldn't call it true depression. there is mainy two types: manic(sp?) and bipolar... bipolar is when you go from sudden happy and a natural high to really low.... manic (sp?) is when you get depressed for long periods, it can even be low-lying for months at a time.

Depression is killing me.

Sad songs and feeling of emptiness. Suicidal thoughts and hopelessness.
